Another project for The Audit Commission.

A good start to 2004.  Orders in excess of £6m have been gained, the largest being for The Audit Commission's new headquarters building in Milbank Tower, London.

This is one of the largest interior projects currently being carried out in London and was won against strong competition, not only against other UK design and build contractors, but as this government project came under the OJEC rules,  was extensively advertised to contractors throughout the EEC.

Although the Best Practice workshop was not able to be carried out until some time after works had commenced on site, the process was still able to demonstrate savings in excess of 8% off the original tendered price of phase 1 alone.

The works commenced on site on the January 2004 and over £1m of phase 1 works was completed on time and on budget within 5 weeks from commencement.

Below are some early snapshots of completed phase 1.
