Workplace Partnering - How does it work?
You are spending large sums each year on individual projects re-planning, refurbishing or fitting out your space, or coping with churn. The chances are you will appoint someone either in house, or outsourced, to create the tender documentation after which you will select the appropriate contractor. And, once the work starts, your appointed team will need to oversee that the work is completed on time and within budget.
Your next project will no doubt be awarded in the same way, but is likely to be carried out by a different contractor, or one that has submitted the most cost effective price. Once again the project will have been priced on the basis of this work alone.
But the true wasted cost is rarely appreciated.
For a start there is the cost and time to create the documentation. Then there is the hidden cost and time of your own internal management in dealing with the process. BUT, the biggest loss to your company is that all your planned works will have been priced for as a single phase or task alone, and not with the much larger picture in mind.
Imagine other organisations in the same position as yourself. They too will be wasting as much money as you are, but there is a simple solution to this wasted money, which in the majority of cases can be as high as 20% - It is the unique Genus Workplace Partnering concept, which is totally confidential and structured to meet your requirements.
Will Workplace Partnering benefit you?
Each Workplace Partnering client will have different needs and our partnership agreement will be tailored to suit.
In some instances we hold stock of the various components to enable projects to be fast tracked. With others there may be a more leisurely approach to the work. Either way, our existing Workplace Partners have already seen considerable savings from being part of the Genus network of Partners, as this tried and tested concept provides a wide range of choice which normally has limited availability through the traditional routes.
Why not join them and gain the benefit of the total expenditure of similar organisation as yourselves?
Best Practice Workshops
All of our workplace Partners have benefited from our Best Practice Workshops. The process is not new to Genus, we have been applying the concept for years. Click here to find out more.
Please contact us to arrange a meeting with one of our specialist advisors. If we don’t feel that we can provide any benefits to you, we will say so as we believe it’s important to build a relationship based on mutual trust and respect from the outset.
